If you had ever been taken in by the soft, fatty (good fish fats) and smooth appeal of a slice of otoro (tuna belly) then you know why this is a deal too good to be true.
For Japanese restaurant, Rakuzen’s Tampines outlet’s first birthday, sushi aficionados are offered this almost ridiculous deal – Maguro Otoro Sushi (Tuna Fish Belly) at only $1 per slice (usual price at $8 per piece) for every $10 spent, from 15 to 30 October 2012.
In addition, all dine-in guests will receive a 10% discount off the entire bill and a complimentary Rakuzen card that entitles the user to a 10% dine-in discount for an entire year, when you visit this Tampines outlet in the month of November.
Apart from the dollar Otoro sushi deal, diners can also indulge in Rakuzen’s signature dishes like Eihire, grilled stingray fin ($8) and Mizuho, a platter of 12 different kinds of nigiri sushi and 1 maki sushi ($40).
*All promotions are only applicable at Rakuzen’sTampines outlet. The $1 Maguro Otoro sushi promotion is only available for dinner on weekdays, and lunch and dinner on weekends.
