Savour is Singapore’s newest gourmet festival. Participants can expect to savour more than 50 dishes from 16 award-winning chefs and restaurants from Singapore and around the globe. Some of the celebrity chefs flying in for the festival include Chef Bien Nguyen from Xu Saigon, Vietnam and Chef Virgilio Martinez Veliz from Central Restaurante, Peru. Local guest chefs participating in the event include Chef Chan Kwok from Hua Ting and Chef Julien Royer from Jaan.
 
Darren Chen, Director of Savour Events says, “We wanted to invite chefs who were from cities in which we may not have had a chance to try their cuisine, or even thought of.” Visitors can look forward to more “exotic” places include Finland and Peru.
 
Featuring exclusive areas like the Savour Gourmet Village, Savour Gourmet Market and Savour Gourmet Auditorium, there are a variety of culinary classes and workshops. Darren adds, “We want to create as many experiences in one location and build a community of like-minded people who love food.”
